Hi, I’m Jessica, AKA Monky. I taught myself to crochet a few years ago and decided to try to sell my creations. That’s why I created Monky Makes.
My main medium for crochet is yarn, but I like to also make things out of recycled plastic. I have made mesh market bags out of plastic grocery bags and baskets out of plastic candy bags. I have also reused plastic packaging to stuff inside cat toys and make them crinkly.
My Etsy shop has exposed my craft to friends and family. A family member is commissioning me to make 7 jumbo goldfish pillows. One of each color for her kids. It’s been a really fun project to work on.
